As a unit owner at Nautica in Table View, I have dealt with SLT for over 11 years. In that time, I have been thoroughly impressed with the extremely high level of service they consistently provide. I was extremely privileged to work with Donna-Lee Rollins as our Portfolio Manager. She is amazing at her job and really goes the extra mile. We would like to give you some feedback on the experience over the last few years with Sandak Levin Trust as the management Agent for the Seapark Centre BC. As the Chairperson of the BC, I have had many dealings with the Sandak Levin staff and in various departments . This ranges from Financial to Legal and then daily management of the Seapark Scheme’s administration. We conduct the monthly Trustee meetings and are very fortunate that our PM attends very meeting, although we schedule them to suit her busy schedule. We are very pleased with the professional way the account is handled and the prompt responses we get on matters. The support to the trustees is always there and advice when we seek some clarity on issues. Our PM Irene Hartley has been an absolute gem.

We have had the greatest good fortune of experiencing the maintenance team of Bongekile Fikude and Rohan vd Westhuisen taking over the responsibility of our building maintenance. THEY ARE AWESOME. Bongekile responds to a fault report so quickly that it makes your head spin. And Rohan is fantastic at prioritising and monitoring work on hand and forward planning projects so that nothing is neglected or overlooked as well as liason with trades and keeping them on their toes. They are truly a stellar team and a fantastic credit to Sandak-Lewin. With them on board you can truly trust that your property is in the best hands.

I have worked with several Managing Agents over the years and have found that Sandak Lewin Portfolio Managers are by far the most competent and efficient. Their Senior Management is hands-on and knowledgeable about the law relating to Section Title. Their Monthly Reports are excellent and give Trustees all the info necessary to manage the block. Managing Agents cannot make up for incompetent Body Corporate Trustees, - they are our agents. Most of the criticisms do not know the difference. Most badly run blocks are that way because of ineffective Trustees, - not the Managing Agents fault.
